Eligibility

  1. Contest is open to global residents.
  2. Registrant must be 18 years or older.

How to participate

  1. Post a photo or video of your favourite travel memory of Asia-Pacific on your Instagram/Facebook feed 
  2. Use the hashtag #InsideMyBlackBook and tag @blackbooktravels 

Winner drawing and notification

  1. Three (3) winners will be awarded 1300 BB coins. BB coins must be used on a booking on the BlackBook Travels platform within 3 months from date of issue.
  2. Actual value of BB coins will be subject to prevailing exchange rates.
  3. Winner will be contacted via Instagram or Facebook DM to verify personal details, on 30 Apr 2021, 15:00 SGT.
  4. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
  5. You consent to BlackBook Travel’s collection of your name and email address to credit the BB coins into your account.
  6. BlackBook Travels shall not be liable for any and all damages, costs, expenses, claims or losses of any kind that a winner may incur as a result of the prize.
  7. BlackBook Travels reserves the right to disqualify any winner who does not respond within three (3) working days after notification.

General conditions

  1. By participating in this contest, you agree that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions of this contest. All winners will be notified via Instagram or Facebook DM.
  2. BlackBook Travels, the organiser, reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify the terms of, or cancel the contest at any time without prior notice.

User Generated Content Terms of Use

  1. By participating in our contest and responding with the hashtag #InsideMyBlackBook, you give your permission to BlackBook Travels Pte. Ltd and our related companies to use the photographs, comments, and other content posted on your social media account (“Content”). Your participation indicates that you accept these terms.

  2. You hereby grant BlackBook a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use, modify, edit, create derivative works from your Content, and publicly display and reproduce it in any media format, including on our online platforms, royalty-free and without compensation. This license is permissive – BlackBook is not obliged to use your Content. In the event that we do, we are not required to inform you if we use it, how we use it, or if we have stopped using it. If BlackBook uses your Content, we may or may not give you credit. However, BlackBook reserves the right to disclose your identity, including your social media platform username if we do use your Content.

  3. You confirm the following:
    • You are at least 18 years of age.
    • You have created and own all rights to your social media content or are authorized by the owner of those rights to license your social media content to BlackBook under these terms.
    • Each identifiable individual depicted in a photo included in your Content has consented to the photo being shared publicly and without restriction. In the case where a child under 13 years old is featured, you confirm that their parent's consent has been given.
    • BlackBook’s use of your Content will not, to the best of your knowledge, violate any law, and will not infringe any rights of a third party.
    • You will not seek to hold BlackBook, or any person acting on BlackBook’s behalf, liable for any demands by a third party related to our use of your Content.
    • You are not aware of any restrictions that prevent you from agreeing to these terms.
  1. You also consent to BlackBook disclosing your identity, including your social media platform username, to a third party who makes a credible allegation that our use of your Content violates any of their rights.

  2. BlackBook reserves the right to alter these User Generated Content Terms of Use without advance notice by posting a revised User Generated Content Terms of Use. Accordingly, you should review the terms each time you grant permission or authorization to feature your Content.

BB coins usage

  1. BB coins can only be utilised by BlackBook registered users.
  2. You will need to sign into your account to access the BB coins credited into your account.
  3. BB coins will be available for use on our mobile apps (on App Store and Play Store) or website at checkout.
  4. Once used for a booking, the BB coins will no longer be valid for subsequent uses.
  5. BB coins issued during promotional campaigns cannot be converted to cash.
  6. The value of the BB coins is subject to prevailing exchange rates.
  7. BB coins are non-transferable.
  8. BB coins issued as part of this promotion will expire three (3) months from the date of issue and are non-refundable.
